It's been 20 years since Ibanez introduced the Soundgear bass. This new model has the fast neck and comfortable body shape the Soundgear series is known for, but now features a 5-piece SRX4 maple/bubinga thru-neck heel design with a quilted maple top that gives this bass a kind of marbleized look. Extra powerful passive PFR-4N pickups with exposed pole pieces at the neck and bridge pickups increase your sound output. Meanwhile, the bass guitar's Accu-cast B200 bridge and EQB-IIDX 2-band EQ help you maintain a high-level of consistency.

The Fender Marcus Miller Jazz Bass V has an ash body coupled to a one-piece maple neck with 7-1/4" radius, and 4-over 1-under tuner configuration. The J-Bass V has white binding and pearloid block inlays on a maple fretboard. A unique active preamp with an active/passive switch are wired to US single coils. A massive string-thru bridge, Marcus Miller's signature black pickguard, and chrome neck pickup cover complete the feature set. The bass guitar includes a deluxe hardshell case.

Not everyone needs a sleek, narrow-necked bass like the Soundgear. That's why Ibanez first came out in 1995 with the ATK (short for "attack," the aggressive ATK's defining characteristic).
