Marshall Limited Edition Kerry King MG10KK 10W 1×6.5 Combo Amp Red/Black
Sep 1, 2010 Marshall Guitar Amps
Marshall’s Kerry King signature practice amp, the MG10KK, is a 10-Watt, 2-channel combo amp with a 6.5″ speaker. It features FDD: Frequency Dependent Damping, a speaker emulation that brings the sound of a big guitar speaker from your small practice amp driver. You also get a speaker-emulated line out that doubles as a CD-in, for playing along with your favorite recordings. A headphone jack, with the same great, emulated sound output, allows you to use your Marshall amp to shred in silence, without bothering roommates or neighbors. The classic gold Marshall panel has been stained red while its black knobs and tribal tattoo design are in stark contrast to its bold white text. The result is an amp that in Kerry’s words truly has been “reigned in blood.”It also includes an exclusive Guitar Abuse tutorial DVD, commissioned by Marshall Amplification and filmed by Guitar World. Legendary Slayer guitarist, Kerry King, gives you a personal insight and demonstrates exactly what this diminutive beast can do.The MG Series raises the standard for what can be expected from a value-for-money range of guitar amplifiers and defines a new benchmark.Control Panel 1. Input jack: Use a good quality guitar (screened) cable to plug your guitar in here. 2. Clean VOLUME control: When the OD Select switch is out’; this control adjusts the volume of the Clean Channel. At low settings the sound will be very clean with a bell-like ring. Turning this control above half way will introduce a desirable, bluesy distortion as the power amplifier is driven into crunch mode’. 3. OD (Overdrive) SELECT switch: Depressing the Overdrive Select Switch will engage the Overdrive Channel. 4. Overdrive GAIN control: Turning up the Overdrive Gain Control will increase the amount of distortion generated in the Overdrive channel. Low gain settings will produce classic rock and blues tones. Crank the Gain for fat and aggressive sounds that are perfect for soloing or hard rock and nu-metal riffs. 5. Overdrive VOLUME control: The MG10KK cleverly combines its Line Out and CD Input functions. If you want to jam to your favorite CD or tape, merely connect the headphone output of your CD or tape player here, adjust the player’s volume to match that of your guitar and hey-presto’ you’ve got the perfect play-along’ practice system. Alternatively, you can use this socket to connect the MG10KK to your multi-track recording machine and you’ll get a great guitar sound direct to disk or tape. HELPFUL HINT: for silent’ recording merely plug an unconnected jack plug to the headphone socket and you’ll disconnect the MG10KK’s internal speaker. 8. EMULATED HEADPHONES jack: Plug your headphones here for a killer speaker emulated sound! Doing this mutes your MG10KK amp’s internal speaker for silent practice. 9. POWER Switch and LED: The power switch turns your amplifier on and off. The LED will be lit when your amplifier is on.DVD Contents Guitar A

Marshall 1962 Bluesbreaker Combo Amp
Aug 18, 2010 Marshall Guitar Amps
The Marshall 1962 Bluesbreaker Combo Amp is just like the one used by Eric Clapton during his stint with Mayall’s Bluesbreakers and famously on the Beano sessions. With 30W output and 2×12 speakers, it produces a gutsy bass and vibrant top, coupled with an overall natural warmth. The valve rectification output stage, pioneered by Marshall in the early 1960s, is responsible for helping achieve the famed compression and sustain exhibited uniquely by both the JTM45 and 1962. Though somewhat tonally similar to a JTM45, the 1962 combo is loaded with 2 Celestion Greenback 25W speakers and also comes with a footswitchable tremolo effect. If you’re looking for that sensuous, creamy early Clapton sound, we guarantee that you’ll find it in this beautifully reissued Marshall combo. The natural tone and overdrive of the 1962 Bluesbreaker Amp will quickly become a fundamental ingredient in your overall sound.

Aug 13, 2010 Marshall Guitar Amps
The Marshall 1974X 18W 1×12 Combo Amp is a handwired reissue of the model 1974, a combo originally produced from 1965 to 1968. Introduced as a practice combo amp in 1965, it wasn’t as loud as the terror-inducing heads Marshall was producing, but it could rock, giving up incredible lead and crunch sounds at low volumes. The 1974X combo comes with 2 EL84 tubes in the power amp, 3 ECC83s in the preamp, an EZ81 rectifier tube, and features valve-driven tremolo. A proprietary, aged reissue of the 20W, ceramic magnet Celestion T1221 speaker used in the original adds to the Marshall 1974X’s tonal authenticity. Marshall includes a footswitch with your 1974X Combo Amp.
Marshall Vintage Modern 2466 Tube Amp Head
Aug 12, 2010 Marshall Guitar Amps
The Marshall Vintage Modern 2466 Tube Amp Head is an all-valve amplifier with a choice of two dynamic ranges selectable by footswitch. The Low range equates equates to the performance you would come to expect from a stock vintage Marshall amplifier in terms of tone and available gain. The High range adds an extra preamp valve into the signal path, facilitating those classic hard rock tones of the seventies. Add to this the ability to dynamically interface with your instrument’s Volume and Tone controls and the experience translates into a truly expressive and organic feel in performance. Two frequency selective Pre-amp Volumes (Gains) – Body and Detail – facilitate greater flexibility in tone shaping for individual guitars and styles while the power amplifier is heavily influenced by the first Marshall amplifiers to be produced, with four KT66 output valves yielding that substantial, fat and smooth tone. A MID Boost switch on the front panel fattens the tone even more while a traditional Marshall tone control circuit enables fine tuning of your sound.A master volume has been included in order to practically manage the output levels at all venues. This is implemented after the phase splitter in order to fully exploit maximum preamp drive when the master is turned down low. A reverb level control mixes the on board plate reverb with the direct signal to whatever degree the player chooses. The reverb can be toggled on and off via the footswitch. Finally, a series FX loop is provided for those players who wish to use outboard effects to further enhance their sound. Loop levels of 10dB and +4dB can be controlled via a rear panel switch as well as the option to completely bypass this feature if it is not required. The cosmetics are also a carefully crafted hybrid of old and new styles made even more dramatic by the deep purple vinyl that covers the entire series.
