To commemorate their 25th anniversary, Warwick wanted to create a very special limited edition bass guitar. The “Flamin’ Blonde” 5-string combines some materials that Warwick has never used before to make an instrument that really shines.For the body wood, Warwick chose lacewood for the top and back, with a thin piece of yellow heart (pau amerello) sandwiched in between. Besides be visually stunning, lacewood offers warmth and clarity in the low end with even mids and sparkling highs.The neck is made from strips of wenge and yellow heart, with a tiger-striped ebony fingerboard.
